Reels Are Loaded And Rotated Under Power Without The Use Of A Mandrel Bar. Positive Reel Rotation Is Achieved By Hydraulic Gear Drives Mounted In The Reel Loading Arms. Reel Is Mechanically Engaged To The Drive Mechanism For Positive Pull-In And Pay-Out Capability. For Ease Of Loading, Reel Loading Arms Hydraulically Adjust To Reel Width And Diameter. Unit Is Capable Of Removing Or Installing Cable Throughout The Entire Range Of Load Arm Articulation. Operation Of Unit Provides Extremely Smooth And Efficient Removal And Installation Of Underground Cable. All Major Functions Can Be Operated From The Standard Panel Or Radio Controls. Self-Propelled By Hydraulically-Driven Nose Wheel, And Operated From Panel Or Radio Controls For Ease Of Manoeuvrability Steerable Nose Wheel Is Hydraulically-Controlled From Panel Or Radio Controls. Trailer Tongue Is Hydraulically Raised And Lowered For Ease Of Attachment To Towing Vehicle. Spring-Applied Hydraulic Release Brakes Are Automatically Operated When The Trailer Is In Self-Propel.
